Every calculation on this site is JavaScript running in your browser. The amounts you enter and the ingredients you select are not transmitted anywhere, are not logged, and are not stored.

You can verify this: load any calculator page, disconnect from the internet, and it will keep working perfectly.

We use Google Analytics to count page views and see which calculators actually get used. It records the page you opened, roughly where you are (country and city, derived from your IP address, which Google does not retain), your device and browser, and how you arrived.

It does not receive anything you type. The amounts and ingredients you enter are never sent to Google or to us — they stay in your browser, as described above.

Google processes this data on our behalf and may store it outside your country. If you would rather not be counted, any tracking blocker will stop the script loading, and every calculator on the site works exactly the same without it.

The site itself stores one thing on your device: your colour-theme preference (light or dark), kept in local storage so the page does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. It is a single value, it never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies, named _ga and _ga_*, to recognise a returning visit and group requests into a session. There are no advertising or remarketing cookies.

Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and abuse prevention. These are retained for a short period and are not linked to any identity, because there is no identity to link them to.

If you write to hello@gramspoon.com, we hold that email so we can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one.

If this policy changes materially, the revision date at the foot of the page changes with it. Given that the site collects nothing, material changes are unlikely.
